She Sir is a duo creating powerful shoegaze-inspired compositions. They are influenced by all your favorites: MBV, Cocteau Twins, Ride, Echo & The Bunnymen, etc. but their sound is a deliciously-fresh one, not one that apes the styles of others. The two principles experiment with alternate guitar tunings, unorthodox technique, and generally obsess over the aesthetics of songwriting. Unique phrasing, intricate vocal counterpoint, modal harmonies and cagey rhythms are but a few elements of their sound. Taking cues from their classical and contemporary music compsition background, and combining with their love of modern guitar-sound pioneers, She Sir is nothing short of a brilliant recipe for success.
